Description
The Hospital Sanctuary of Santa María la Real is located in the village of O Cebreiro, a town whose history has been closely linked to the Camino de Santiago, being one of its oldest monuments.
The building was constructed in the middle of the s. IX ( as a guesthouse) to host the pilgrims in one of the last stages to Santiago.
