Description

Granite stone bridge built in the s. XVI with Roman materials and base. It is sixty-two m long, the road three and a half meters and reaches a maximum height of nine meters.
It has four arches with a voluminous cutwater in the center. Features a camel rump. In its central part a prismatic structure is preserved, that crowns it and that resembles a niche.
In the Middle Ages there were, about him, a tower and the right of pontazgo was charged for crossing it. It was the place of confluence of the couriers coming from different parts of Galicia that together continued on their way to the court. It is part of the municipal coat of arms.
